Refund Policy

1. Overview
This Refund Policy describes when and how you can request a refund for a Fleetiqo subscription. It applies to all paying customers of Fleetiqo, LLC ("Fleetiqo", "we", "us"). This policy is incorporated into our Terms of Service.
We want you to feel comfortable trying Fleetiqo. New users get a 3-day free trial before the first charge, and every monthly charge carries a 7-day refund window described below.
2. 7-day prorated refund
You may request a refund for any monthly subscription charge within 7 calendar days of the charge date. The refund is prorated for the unused portion of that billing period, calculated as follows:
- We count the number of days remaining between the date your refund request is received and the end of the current billing period.
- We refund
(days remaining ÷ days in billing period) × amount charged, rounded to the nearest cent. - Your subscription is cancelled at the time of the refund and you retain access through the date of the refund request.
Example. You are charged $49 on the 1st of a 30-day month and email us on the 8th. 22 days remain in the period, so the refund is 22 ÷ 30 × $49 = $35.93. The remaining $13.07 covers the 8 days you used the Service.
Refunds are returned to the original payment method (card via Stripe, or Apple ID for in-app purchases — see Section 5). Processing typically takes 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
3. After the 7-day window
After 7 days, the charge for that billing period is considered earned and is not refundable, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise (Section 5). You can still cancel at any time to prevent the next charge — cancellation is immediate and you keep access until the end of the current period.
For very large or annual prepayments, a different refund schedule may apply where stated on the order page; in those cases the order page controls.
4. What is not refundable
- One-time purchases of physical goods (e.g. GPS trackers) once shipped — those are covered by the return policy stated on the product page.
- Fees already refunded under a prior request for the same billing period.
- Charges resulting from your failure to cancel before an auto-renewal, more than 7 days after the renewal charge.
- Add-ons or third-party fees (Stripe processing fees on refunded transactions are absorbed by us; third-party SaaS fees that you owe to Stripe, Twilio, Apple, etc. are not within our control).
5. Mandatory consumer-law rights
Where local law grants you a refund right stronger than this policy, that law applies. Nothing in this Refund Policy waives a non-waivable consumer right.
- EU / EEA / UK consumers: the 14-day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 applies when the Service has not yet been performed. If you begin using the Service during the withdrawal period, you consent to performance and lose the withdrawal right for the portion already performed.
- Brazil: 7-day right of repentance under Article 49 of the Consumer Defense Code.
- Apple App Store / Google Play purchases: refunds for in-app subscriptions are issued by Apple or Google under their own refund policies. We do not have access to your Apple ID transactions and cannot refund them directly. Use reportaproblem.apple.com or your Google Play order history. We are happy to support your request to the platform.
- Any other mandatory consumer-protection law in your country, state, or province that grants a non-waivable refund right.
6. Service-outage refunds
If a prolonged Fleetiqo-side outage materially prevented you from using the Service for a paid period, we may issue a discretionary credit or refund beyond the 7-day window. Contact support with the dates and a short description; we review against our incident history at /status and respond within 5 business days.
7. How to request a refund
Email support@fleetiqo.com from the email address associated with your account and include:
- The date of the charge you want refunded.
- The last 4 digits of the card charged (helps us locate the transaction).
- A short reason — we ask only to improve the Service; it does not gate the refund within the 7-day window.
We respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued the same day via Stripe; bank settlement typically takes 5–10 additional business days.
8. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us before filing a chargeback — we resolve most issues within a few business days. Chargebacks filed without prior contact may result in suspension of the affected account pending resolution, but we will always honor a valid refund request that meets this policy.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy. Material changes (anything that reduces a customer's refund entitlement) take effect 30 days after we email registered customers. Charges processed before the effective date remain governed by the policy in effect at the time of the charge.
